Welcome to the official Scott LaFata political website.   Scott, as an activist for our personal freedoms is an active Constitutionalist that believes that upholding our constitution in the strictest sense will help the United States to get back on the right track - freedom and liberty for all.  His lobbying efforts with key Government officials and well as backing crucial candidates in Washington DC, Georgia and Nevada have made a difference in how government continues to operate.  His support spans the parties, including Libertarian, however, Scott is a supporter of change and new direction for the congress after the renewed unbridled spending in Washington during 2009.  His experience as a management consulting executive and investor, advising global companies on the path to achieve greater efficiency, profitability, and brand recognition creates an opportunity for government to streamline and improve their service to the public using his experience and knowledge.

Right to Privacy

The right to privacy is one of his biggest concerns, with "big brother" data being compiled daily on each of us; his experience dictates that regulations and standards must evolve to provide the best benefit to us all..  Always seeking opportunity to make a key difference in our Lawmaking and government, whether it is through directly holding public office, teaching at the University Level, or working with lobbyist to effectively influence key decisions in Congress.  Your credit score method, and the largest growing global crime - Identity theft require action from our legislatures and leaders, and I do not see it being adequately being addressed.  Facebook "spies" abound and threaten freedom of speech and, beware, what you say on Facebook and twitter is like inviting the world into your living room.

Tne New American Frontier  - Energy

.  Doesn't it make you wonder why prices fluctuate so much at the gas pumps and our government fails to tackle the issue of price control and availability?  The exploration of alternative energy ( Solar, Wind, etc ) is a must, and I support safe, clean Nuclear power


Getting Manufacturing back in America

Have you notice lately that its difficult to find something made here.  Even "American" Cars are made of largely foreign made components and assembled in Mexico.  Have you noticed that our financial well being and economy has been turbulent ever since we allowed manufacturing to mostly slip quietly overseas for the past twenty years?.  Let's bring incentives back to start, run and maintain manufacturing production entities to the United States and territories.  China should continue to dominate manufacturing for some years, but what is wrong with putting forth a plan to compete in a strong way?.  Working with the Unions may or may not be a method to address some of these issues.

The Environment and Animals

Along with this, there needs to be a balance of protecting our Wildlife and animals, and our natural resources.  A common sense approach should include committees of activists, politicians, and business representatives to ensure a common sense plan.  

Balance in State Government

You have probably noticed that most State Governments comfortably grew into their budgets, meaning that it grew government to absorb gains in tax revenues. Now that tax revenues are shrinking along with the global economy, State governments are struggling to maintain their status quo.  We as a people need to elect State Governors that understand and support the concept signing only sensible budgets,  For this cause - I support the Election of Karen Handel in the upcoming Georgia Primary election, and subsequently the General election.  Karen has done a great job adjusting the Secretary of States office budget to fit within their means and save budget dollars where possible.  I have been watching the candidates for Governor emerging in Nevada, meeting several of them at the Clark County Republican gatherings, and reserve my support until the candidate firm up their political positions.

Bringing back Constitutional Design of Our Forefathers

Have you also noticed that Government has become all about spending money - our money.  What about the other areas that Government can provide leadership in morality and direction of our culture?
